THE LAUGHING CHAMELEON PARTNERS WITH LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, YOUTH SERVICES, FOR GRAND OPENING BENEFIT

GLENVIEW, IL (DECEMBER 27-28, 2011) – The Laughing Chameleon is honored to partner with local non-profit group, Youth Services, for the grand opening of the North Shore’s newest comedy, magic and variety club. There is nothing better than laughing and giving back, and this event is sure to warm everyone’s heart during the holiday season!

 

The Grand Opening will take place on Tuesday, December 27th and Wednesday, December 28th, with shows at 7pm and 10pm that will benefit Youth Services. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to the not-for-profit organization. Nancy Bloom, Executive Director at Youth Services, along with Monica Garvey, Director of Special Events at Youth Services say, “We are so grateful to partner with them (The Laughing Chameleon)! David & Dania are skilled performers who generously donate their talents to benefit charities such as ours.”

The performer featured in these shows will be Christina Bianco, an acclaimed Broadway actress and cabaret artist, with unique vocals and humorous impressions that amaze audiences with her interpretation of new songs and old classics alike.

ABOUT YOUTH SERVICES

Youth Services is a local non-profit organization based out of Glenview, Illinois that is devoted to the mental health, character development and physical well being of children, as well as the families in the community. Founded in 1972, they strive to positively impact children’s lives by being actively involved in the community. Youth Services teaches social, problem solving, and decision-making skills, and recognize that every problem in a child’s life, whether it big or small, is worth solving.

ABOUT THE LAUGHING CHAMELEON

The Laughing Chameleon was co-founded by David and Dania Maas, well known for their “Quick Change” act, and business partners, Gary and Renee Walter. Located in The Glen Town Center, it is the North Shore’s prime destination for evening fun, food and entertainment. Offering the area’s only high caliber variety entertainment, comedy, illusionists and much more, The Laughing Chameleon features full bar and small plate restaurant service, as well as accommodations for up to 75 for private events and parties.

The Laughing Chameleon is opening in December 2011.  It will be open Monday through Sunday, 5:30pm to 1:00am, and 5:30pm to 2:00am on Saturday on most weeks, with shows 7pm and 10pm most nights, and Open Mic Mondays at 7pm. General admission tickets will be priced at $25 and up, with a two drink minimum.  Annual memberships will also be available and will include exclusive access to special events and offers, first advance notices of performers and ability to buy up to four tickets per membership, priority seating/reserved tables with preferences taken as to where patron likes to sit, "Members only" specials, invitation to exclusive Meet & Greets to mingle with celebrity acts, and a 10% discount on all tickets purchased on-line.
