Some 250 Students Participated in Glenview Art League's Youth Art Fair

A fair organizer says she saw more sculptures and photographs submitted for exhibition this year than past years.

More than 250 students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade displayed their artwork during Glenview Art League’s 24th annual Youth Art Fair Saturday, the league awarded some $500 in cash and gift cards, Chicago Tribune reported. 

Among the winners included Glenbrook South High School senior Ellen Takagi, 17, who took home top honors in the 12th grade category with an oil painting of Michael Jordan, the former NBA player, Chicago Tribune reported.
