Asian Seafood, Steak Restaurant Opens On Golf Road

It offers a lunch buffet for $6.99 and a dinner buffet for $10.99, and carryouts.

Hungry diners selected from rows and row of counters featuring platters of seafood, sushi, maki, meat, chicken, side dishes and desserts as Flaming Grill Supreme Buffet held its grand opening Monday at 9020 W. Golf Road, Niles.

At a hibachi grill, diners could select their own raw shrimp, steak, veggies, noodles and sauces from a display and have a chef cook their meal to order.

"We've got Chinese food, Japanese food, American food, the hibachi grill and more," said Owen Guo, an owner/partner.

The restaurant also has a private party room, which can seat up to 70 people separately from the res of the dining room.

"We also have carry out--we charge by the pound," said Guo, who is originally from New York but came to Chicago about four years ago. He has worked in the restaurant industry about 10 years.

Simon Wong is also part-owner, though Flaming Grill is affiliated with Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet in the New York-New Jersey area, Guo said.
