Glenview Grind to Replace Caribou Coffee

A new upscale coffee shop, Glenview Grind, is opening in the former Caribou Coffee space early September, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The Caibou Coffee location at 99 Waukegan Rd. in Glenview has been closed since April, having been identified as one of 80 underperforming stores across the country, but a new venture is on the horizon.

Glenview resident Perry Mandera, along with former Caribou employees, plan to open the independent coffee shop "Glenview Grind" in September, according to the Chicago Tribune. Besides gourmet coffee, the upscale shop will also feature pastries from Maier's Bakery in Morton Grove, reported the Tribune.
