Dining Out: Open For Business Christmas Day

Christmas Day this year is a double whammy...a holiday and a Sunday! But we've found a few places that will be open for you to grab a great meal -- just in case you get tired of turkey or your holiday feast doesn't go as planned and you need a quick save.

Also keep in mind that the and the will be closed Monday, Dec. 26 in observance of the holiday.

Open in Glenview

It won't quite be Friday, but this popular restaurant will be available on Christmas Day from 4 to 10 p.m. with an array of foods we all know and love.

Known for their wood-roasted chicken and barbecue baby back ribs, Johnny's Kitchen & Tap will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Who wouldn't want to grab a world-famour omelette on Christmas morning at  Eggsperience will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Open in Northbrook

1911 Cherry Ln, 847-498-1500Who says you can't have pizza on Christmas? Should the mood strike, Marcello's Father & Son Restaurant is offering dine-in, pick-ups and delivery from 3 to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day.

There's something to be said for partaking of Chinese food on Christmas Day and that something is: awesome. Stir Crazy will let you dine in or carry out  from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Don't forget about the seafood! This Italian seafood house will open their doors from noon to 7 p.m. on Christmas Day. There will be no buffet or regular menu and Di Pescara is also taking a holiday from accepting coupons, holiday bonuses or frequent dining rewards. The cost is $34.95 for individual plates.
