Mariano’s Fresh Market and a McGrath Audi dealership would anchor the new development at Waukegan and Golf.

A proposed shopping center where the old Avon Cosmetics distribution facility once existed is causing a stir with community members, TribLocal reported this week.

According to TribLocal, Oak Brook-based Regency Centers hopes to redevelop the land at Golf and Waukgean roads with anchor stores Mariano’s grocery and a relocated McGrath dealership.

If you don't have to travel on Golf or Waukegan, it would be great. Hate to see rush hour when everyone hits the grocery store.
