This Sandwich Won't Help You Meet Your 2013 Goal Weight

Glenview House chef creates an anti-New-Year's resolution sandwich. Maybe you can start that new fitness regimen after lunch.

It's called the Ultimate BLT, but let's aknowledge Glenview House's newest dish for what it really is — an anti-New Year’s resolution sandwich.

Glenview House’s Executive Chef Grant Slauterbeck created the sandwich, which has layers of half-pound crispy bacon, iceberg lettuce, juicy tomatoes and a house-made mayonnaise. All of that goodness is put between two grilled cheese brioche sandwiches that are slathered with butter, American and Swiss cheeses.

If that’s not enough, you can add a cage-free fried egg to the creation for $1 more.

Slauterbeck created the sandwich to fit in with the anti-near-year’s resolution theme.

The sandwich is only available during January, so maybe this year's resolutions should start in February.
