CHARACTER COUNTS! IN GLENVIEW Poster Contest
The annual CHARACTER COUNTS! IN GLENVIEW Poster Contest is one of the many events scheduled for CHARACTER COUNTS! Week, which is October 21-27.
One of the many events scheduled for CHARACTER COUNTS! Week, which is October 21-27, is the annual CHARACTER COUNTS! IN GLENVIEW Poster Contest. Students are asked to create an 8½ x 11 poster on any one, or more, of the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. The contest is divided into three grade categories: K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. A single Grand Prize winner will be chosen from all the entries and each grade category will also have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. Best of all, the Glenview State Bank is generously sponsoring the poster contest by providing a Money Market College Fund award for each of the prize winners!
We applaud and appreciate the tremendous efforts of Barbara Littlefield, Head of Youth Services at the Glenview Public Library and CHARACTER COUNTS! IN GLENVIEW committee member, who is coordinating this wonderful and meaningful project. This is an exciting opportunity for us to join in with other school districts and communities across the country observing CHARACTER COUNTS! Week in 2012.
Stay tuned for more events scheduled for CHARACTER COUNTS! Week, including the 2nd Annual Lotsa Lotsa Pasta Family Dinner event on October 23, 2012 in the cafeteria at Glenbrook South High School!
