Community Opportunities to Replenish Empty Shelves at Northfield Township Food Pantry

CHARACTER COUNTS! in Glenview, School District 30 PTO, and School District 34 PTA urge you to participate in these very important community events!

When I volunteered at the Northfield Township Food Pantry yesterday, it was terribly depressing and very disheartening to see so many empty shelves.  There was not one can of soup or a jar of peanut butter.  There was not a roll of toilet paper.  There was no pasta sauce or pasta (except for mac and cheese).

What can the community do?  PLEASE participate in the Character Counts Food Drive at our local schools during Character Counts week beginning October 22.  Donations will be delivered to the Northfield Township Food Pantry.

Also, attend the 2nd Annual Lotsa Lotsa Pasta Night on Tuesday, October 23 at Glenbrook South High School.  Dinner will be served from 5:00 until 8:00.
