Playing Games, or Gaming Addiction?
Most teens and young adults take easily to virtual communication, and often choose to spend social time online or with video games. While this type of social interaction is normal, without proper regulation, casual gaming can turn into a bad habit. Youth that are unwilling to engage in other activities and spend more than 40 hours a week playing video games might have an addiction. If your teen has a problem disengaging from their console, it might be time to seek professional help.
