Fitting In - Children with Asperger's Syndrome Often Have Difficulty Fitting In

Children with Asperger's Syndrome often have difficulty fitting in.  Despite having normal or above normal intelligence, these children often lack the ability to connect with others on a social level.  If you encounter a child with Asperger's, recognize that he or she may not know how to fit in.  Including the child in an activity or asking them about their interests can go a long way in making their day.
