D'Agostino's In Glenview And Their Newest Location In Wheeling Shine Due To Outstanding Pride Of Ownership, Fantastic Food & Great Service!

When it comes to restaurants, Chicago and surrounding areas like the North Shore and Lake County have unlimited culinary choices for self-proclaimed "Foodies."
While many experts will proclaim the Chicago region as "The Hot Dog Capital of The World," when it comes to bragging rights, most Chicagoan's will stand behind the "Pride of Pizza!"
There is no question that when it comes to pizza, the debate rages on between Chicago and New York for the country's best. Many pizza lovers will tell you that when it comes to deep dish, Chicago rocks it, but on the flip-side, New York wins hands-down with their fold-over thin crust slices, with the grease dripping off of the cheese. But do they really?
When it comes to thin crust pizza, the truth of the matter is that there are no lack of incredible choices, including one consistent Chicago restaurant staple that has successfully branched out to the nearby suburbs.
After D'Agostino's successful launch in Glenview near the Glen, Debbi and Jeff D'Agostino decided to treat the Wheeling/Buffalo Grove region to a brand new location a year ago. Banking on their tried and true family recipe's for both thin crust pizza and Italian cuisine, the D'Agostino's took their time introducing the locals to their traditional brand of savory classic Chicago style pizza pie.
While their "bread and butter" has always been tied to their signature pizza, Debbi and Jeff are just as proud of their versatile Italian menu that customer's have grown to rely on for their pasta cravings and outstanding salads and desserts.
While the Addison location near Wrigley Field is classic cozy Chicago, with it's charming nooks and wooden tables and Glenview is hip and casual, Wheeling sort of combines the charm of the city with a more diverse, upscale (but very friendly) neighborhood feel. The bar is long and inviting and provides that welcoming "Cheers" vibe that customer's are beginning to look forward to.
But lets face it: The real reason you're reading this story is for the food and D'Agostino's in Wheeling rocks the pizza: Their crust is crispy, and bursting with the perfect amount of CRUNCH to trigger the pizza crave that will have customer's returning time and again for one of the best pies in the country, let alone Chicagoland. Debbi and Jeff are meticulous about quality control and customer satisfaction is non-negotiable.
When it comes to their wait and bar staff, while the aforementioned locations are particular about ensuring that customer's are treated like family, Wheeling may be numero uno. During one experience at Dag's in Wheeling, the bartender came over to our table and essentially took personal care of my Fiancee' and me, leaving no stone unturned. Being later in the evening, he went out of his way to make sure our food was fresh, hot and cooked to our satisfaction, while keeping us well-informed of what our drink choices consisted of.
At the conclusion of our meal, our Bartender/Waiter surprised us by bringing us a sampling of several of their deserts-a fitting conclusion to an exemplary culinary taste experience! It was clear that his pride in his work transcended his responsibilities going the extra mile at every turn! After receiving that level of service, it's easy to see why Wheeling's customer base is growing in record numbers week to week.
Plus: The Wheeling Dag's has a larger layout than some of their sister locations. Jeff and Debbi pulled out all stops to make it functional yet inviting. As a result, Dag's in Wheeling is the ideal spot to host any major family or holiday special occasion, yet just as warm and cozy on date nights.
Jeff and Debbi are accommodating, (often parking themselves in the bar area) easy to work with and well beyond fair in their party pricing and catering options. They make it a point to work closely with their client's, and hence, the loyal following that they've piggybacked from Glenview to Wheeling. Parking is convenient and accessible and their outdoor seating is a pleasure during the spring, summer and early Fall seasons, particularly due to the excellent wait staff/service.
If you're already living in or near their Wheeling location, D'Agostino's is a must experience. If you're bordering their area, it's also a can't miss food experience. Wherever you're located or whenever you're craving some of the best pizza, pasta and versatile Italian comfort food, D'Agostino's in Wheeling is a destination well worth the trip.
Top notch pizza choices coupled with a versatile menu, a blue-chip bar with all the classic and creative new drinks, well positioned televisions to catch all of your favorite Chicago sports teams and two of the best Restauranteurs in the business makes D'Agostino's a 5 Star taste sensation!
I highly recommend D'Agostino's for their food, ambience, hands-on, personable ownership/managed treatment and their impeccable wait staff. Be sure to go to:
