Innovative, Eco & Customer Friendly Green T Services Satisfying Homeowner's Proving To Be Ultimate One-Stop!

When Tonia and Joe Khouri started their Green T lawn care business from the lower level of their home 10 year's ago, little did they realize just how far their vision would take them.

Displayed next the definition of "Sweat Equity," is a photo of Tonia & Joe, who paid their dues working 15 hour days, committed to raising a successful company, while maintaining a wonderful relationship.

The result: An explosion of super-success, with the decade old company now boasting six separate divisions!

Those divisions include: window replacement, carpet/floor cleaning (what I hired them for), air duct cleaning, lawn care, landscaping and pest control, a veritable one-stop home services company if there ever was one!

Housed in a 75,000 sq. ft. building with over 100 trucks and vans, going from neighborhood to neighborhood, Green T is a well-oiled trouble-shooting machine, led by their hands-on Owner's and General Manager, Mark Levi, who also makes house calls when called upon. Owner Joe sits in the center of their corporate structure, completely accessible to each employee. In other words, there are no closed door meetings, in fact, there are no doors to close or separate offices, as everyone is accessible and accountable to one another. It's a brilliant honor's system created by the Owner's that supplants the traditional "hierarchy" of CEO on down.
Everyone is accountable and responsible for the success of the company, providing a unique platform that creates a sense of hands-on entrepreneurial empowerment and opportunity to employee's.

With Tonia's background as the Chairman of Economic Development in Dupage County, Tonia and husband/partner Joe have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to growing the community by providing quality jobs to local residents. In fact, Tonia and Joe believe in paying it forward by empowering the community with fresh careers to help serve their 20,000 plus customer's.

Tonia and Joe express their gratitude by counting their blessings for having had the good health and great fortune to be in the position they're in, while sharing their success, while demonstrating an impeccable work ethic and commitment to family, friends and the community at large.

The exciting part of their now 10 year company is it's dedication to providing each and every one of their services through Eco-Friendly products and techniques that have put Green T at the pinnacle of progress.

Green T's Eco-Friendly approach has achieved viral success with families and individuals more committed than ever to living their lives with as few toxic chemicals and noxious poisons in their homes as possible. Often times, companies that position themselves as "natural," are anything but, so Tonia, Joe, Mark and Jose, go out of their way to educate each and every customer on exactly what they'll be receiving during each and every job.

Ultimately, the Khouri's goal, is to make the community a beautiful, green, healthy place for everyone to enjoy and thrive in. Their commitment to 100% satisfaction to each and every customer is part of their mission statement.

In a world where it's not uncommon for contractor's to show up late (or sometimes not at all), it's refreshing to find a company like Green T who cares just as much as their customer's do about satisfaction and work ethic.

Having personally encountered a virtual nightmare recently with water issues: Flash flooding made our basement window explode. What ensued: My laundry tub filled with water so quickly, that it flew off of it's foundation across the room. According to the Fire Department: "You were lucky you weren't seriously injured due to the water filling up at 89 gallons per minute! Needless to say, it took 5 Firefighter's and two families with squeegees, to mitigate that evening's water which kept both families up until 2:30AM.

With several high-powered fans going and a team of restoration professional's, we were fortunate to prevent mold and mildew from destroying our property, however, it still took the better part of a week to deploy microbial chemicals in conjunction with the drying and dehumidifying necessary to prevent a true disaster.

Our brand newly installed black and white ceramic tile was rich with the gunk and a filmy residue due to the water damage, while our new white floor trim had to be removed and scrapped, due to the flash flooding.

In addition, the newly installed grout lines were discoloring quickly, while the surface of many of the tiles in our 1700 square foot finished basement had pieces of grout material that dried onto the surface, along with smudging.

After speaking to a local flooring specialist whose proposal was unimpressive, I happened to catch the Green T jingle on the radio one morning, which also featured Co-Owner Tonia on the voice-over waxing poetically about the benefits of working with Green T's Eco-Friendly services.

Intrigued, I picked up the phone and after explaining my circumstances, was told they would have General Manager Mark Levi contact me personally. Not only did Mark follow up promptly, Mark was a great listener and an astute trouble-shooter with great ideas who came direct to the point without wasting my time with tacky sales tactics or up sells. He was sensory acute to my needs, while providing excellent time-saving suggestions that were easy on the pocket book as well. After a brief consultation with Mark, I knew I was on the right track and could not wait to make his acquaintance.

On the day Green T arrived, I had the good fortune to meet one of their Owners, Tonia Khouri who just happened to be in my region for a conference. We sat down and had a heart to heart while GM Mark and his excellent crew manager Jose personally took the time to inspect and than refresh my entire finished basement.

Tonia's poise and warm approach were affable and professional, while sharing Joe's and her journey and history. Tonia and Joe have both been Entrepreneur's for quite some time. In spite of having opened several businesses and enjoying certain margins of success, they knew they were on to something a little more special with Green T. Dedicated to the greater good above all else, Tonia expressed Joe's and her commitment to helping other's through their success, while again, helping to grow their community, by employing residents in the area who also shared in their vision for a greener, healthier approach to home services.

Combining business savvy with only good intentions has paid off for the Kouri's who genuinely love introducing communities all over Illinois to the benefits of going green per se and maintaining their commitment to better health.

Meanwhile, Mark and Jose removed the excess grout pieces with painstaking care, than treated all the tile (as if it was their own), by carefully cleaning and buffing out all our tile with precision-like focus.
All of the products that were sprayed and deployed for the purpose of replenishing my floors were the absolute best in Eco-Friendly, blue-chip, non-toxic, care. Mark walked me through the process, patiently explaining each step. After scrubbing the ceramic tiles, some of the machinery (Hydro-craft) resembled a mini-hovercraft traveling at 1,000 psi's and rinsing at 300 degree's to remove any harmful bacteria or debris, while simultaneously drying the floors safely (something even the restoration company was unable to do!) very impressive!

Mark and Jose were meticulous about ensuring that the job was done right the first time, while taking their time to produce spectacular results. In fact, once the work was complete, upon inspecting the finished work, my black/white tiles looked better than the day they were installed-absolutely remarkable!

Meanwhile, Tonia explained that she and Joe started the business committed to providing unmatched quality, reliability with full-service being key, which is why they've built such a stellar reputation. Tonia's getting involved in public office, to provide a resounding Eco-Oriented, healthy voice to the community, as she explains: " In my experience as a business owner, it's critical that I'm accountable to my customer's. You need to do what you say you're going to do. Your reputation is everything. Getting involved in public office is my way of giving back. We got involved with a human right's bill that ultimately passed and that opened up great possibilities to effect positive change. Government should be more customer service oriented. Our constituents are our customers: "What can we do for you? What can we do to help solve your problems?"

Smart, poised, genuine and passionate, Tonia reflects a work ethic and an attitude rarely found nowadays, while taking ownership of her client's goals, providing jobs to her neighbors and the community at large and creating a voice for families and individuals fortunate enough to be served by her unflinching commitment to serving her community with guts and great determination to help those in need.

Simply put, Green T is an extension of Tonia and Joe's dream vision for a better today and a better tomorrow for our children, parents and friends.
Within everything they do, the Khouri's are a living example of what's possible when a couple and their children believe in the possibility for greater good, while spreading their goodwill to the community at large.

"Once you go green, you never want to go back," Tonia says, as she smiles and puts on her sunglasses as she prepares to head back out into the warm sunlight. Somehow, I'm confident that Tonia, Joe and Green T, have what it takes to realize their entire dream each and every day.
