Arthur Hoover, a Glenview resident born in 1924 in Poland, died on Sunday, May 5, the Journal & Topics reports.
Hoover survived three Nazi concentration camps before he was liberated by American soldiers, then came to the United States where he was union organizer, according to the Journal & Topics.
