PHOTOS: Skating in the New Year
Glenview Ice Center hosts a family friendly New Year's Eve celebration.
The held its annual New Year's Eve celebration Saturday night. The Ice Center also held an earlier "Noon Year" celebration just for the tinier tots.
With the lights dimmed and music blaring, skaters hit the ice for two hours before an early midnight countdown at 7:00 pm, complete with a toast of sparkling cider. When not on the ice, kids made crafts from coloring to sand art and hung out with Scooby-Doo, on hand for the party.
