PHOTOS: Wagner Farm Hosts Party'n in the Prairie

Allendale Association Holds Annual Fundraiser in Glenview.

Wagner Farm looked less like Glenview and more like Nashville last Saturday night as the Allendale Association held a western-themed fundraiser at the  

Allendale is a not-for-profit specializing in treatment and education programs for young people who suffer from mental illness or trauma resulting in severe emotional or behavioral disabilities. The organization is one of the largest residential, education, treatment centers in Illinois for children and adolescents aged 7-21.

Guests entered a transformed Wagner Farm and enjoyed cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, a concert from the Jimmy Wayne Trio, and line dancing late in to the night. This was the 29th year Allendale has held an annual fundraiser but it was their first time at the farm.

"Working with kids who have trobles in childhood in important and events like this are a great way foster that and get people involved," said Mary Shahbazian, Executive Director of the Allendale Association.
