Corn Roast Benefitting the Northfield Township Food Pantry

Sunset Foods and the Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce
are hosting a Corn Roast benefitting the Northfield Township Food Pantry on
Saturday, August 24th at the Northfield Farmers’ Market, 6 Happ Road
(across from New Trier High School’s Northfield Campus).

The Northfield Township Food Pantry assists residents of
Glenview, Northfield and Northbrook who are unable to provide enough food for
themselves and their families.  This past
year, over 750 local families were eligible to visit the Pantry each month to
receive perishable and non-perishable food items and grocery store cards.

As you shop and explore the Northfield Farmers’ Market make
sure to stop by and visit the Pantry’s booth to enjoy or take home some
delicious freshly roasted corn on the cob. 
The corn reheats well in the microwave. 
All proceeds will benefit the Northfield Township Food Pantry’s monthly
distribution program.
