Glenview Gardeners presents “Urban Farming in Suburbia” a
Walking tour of The Talking Farm’s Skokie location for their
Tuesday, July 9th meeting, 7:00 p.m. 3701 Howard Street,
Skokie, Il.
Linda Krukmin, Farm Manager is the tour guide of the Howard
Street Farm and the new Ethnic Heritage Garden which features
unique vegetables particular to cultural groups in the community.
Glenview Gardeners is an area garden club open to both
men and women who are interested in all aspects of gardening.
Interests include indoor/outdoor gardening, landscape design and
specialty gardening.
