Oakton Faculty, NSOFA Present Update of Film, "An Inconvenient Truth" in Honor of Earth Day
In honor of Earth Day
2014, faculty members from Oakton Community College, in coordination with North
Shore Organizing for Action (NSOFA), will present “An Inconvenient Truth 2.0
Our Earth at its Tipping Point: It’s
Still Not Too Late”. This is an updated
version of former Vice President Al Gore's award-winning film,” An Inconvenient
Truth”. The free event will take place on
Wednesday, April 23, (The day after Earth Day.), from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at
Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Room 1608, in Des Plaines. Presenters
David Nadolski, MFA, and Paul Gulezian, Ph.D., will explain
global climate change and the importance of action before it’s too late.
