Relay For Life of the North Shore-American Cancer Society Relay For Life set to “Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.”
Glenview, Ill.– The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of the North Shore will be held from 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 3 to 6:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview.
Relay For Life of the North Shore is an annual overnight event to celebrate the lives of those who have cancer, remember those lost to the disease, and fight back against a disease that takes too much. Teams of local businesses, schools, churches, community groups and families raise funds - prior to and at the event - to help fund support services for area patients and their families, cancer research, community educational programs and advocacy initiatives.
Anyone wishing to form a team, participate in survivor activities, or honor a loved one with a luminaria, should contact the American Cancer Society at 847-328-5147, or visit www.relayforlifenorthshore.com. You can also find us on Facebook at “Illinois Division Relay For Life.”
