The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation's 4th Annual Butterfly Ball Benefitting NorthShore University HealthSystem Kellogg Cancer Center

Supporters and friends of The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation are invited to celebrate the organization’s growth and mission at its 4th annual Butterfly Ball. Christian Farr, reporter and anchorman of NBC5 Chicago, will serve as the host of the highly anticipated event, which features a lively cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dancing. Guests of the Butterfly Ball will have an opportunity to bid on several auction and raffle items, including a weekend away at a beautiful Michigan home on a lake.

The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation is pleased to be honoring Leslie Mendoza Temple, MD, Medical Director of the NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Integrative Medicine Program. Dr. Temple’s expertise in Integrative Medicine, which features the practice of combining conventional Western medicine with safe, evidence-based complementary and integrative therapies, has enabled hundreds of oncology patients to achieve mental, physical and spiritual well-being.

All proceeds from the Butterfly Ball benefit NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center. NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center offers comprehensive and compassionate care for oncology patients and their families. Funds raised by the Butterfly Ball will allow NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center to provide much needed support to young mothers with breast cancer by helping fund non-covered medical expenses, childcare fees, transportation and lodging while undergoing treatment.
