Glenview Recycled Christmas Trees, Pruned Some 3,570 Parkway Trees

Some of the recycled trees were chipped while others will be used for Lake Glenview.

Between mid January and early February, contractors with the Village of Glenview pruned 3,573 trees – about 870 trees more than expected, according to the village.

Glenview residents also turned in 330 Christmas trees for recycling. Glenview Park District chipped some 260 trees that were collected at the five parks and the village collected 69 trees from condo associations and will use those trees for Lake Glenview.
