GBS ‘Promposal’ Lands on Good Morning America

Glenbrook South senior Nick Burke went all out in asking classmate Margaret Schneider to prom this year.

He lit fireworks behind his garage that trailed high into the sky as a message projected on the garage saying “It would be a blast if you go to prom with me.”

Margaret said yes, but that wasn’t the end of the story.

Nick’s family saw that Good Morning America was asking for pictures of fun prom proposals, so they sent in some photos of the fireworks, which landed on the show last week.
