Event will be Held at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Glenview on June 24
In the past few months, Chicago residents Kobi & Hildi Dvora have begun ballroom dance classes. As students at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, they have deepened their appreciation for dancing and considers this art form to be a perfect way to pay tribute to their mother-in-law/Mom,
Corinne Goldstein who passed away from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, in September 2008.

On June 24, Kobi &n Hildi will host
the 1st Annual AppleCor Dance For ALS event featuring a keynote
speaker, buffet, silent auction with amazing items such as sports memorabilia, vacation get-aways (and so much more!) and a professional dance performance followed by an opportunity for guests to enjoy a lesson if they so choose.
The event will be held from 4 –7p.m. at:
Arthur Murray Dance Studio, 1328 Waukegan Rd. in Glenview.
There is a suggested donation of $20 (optional). All proceeds from the event will benefit
the Les Turner ALS Foundation.

AppleCor Dance For ALS event,” said Wendy Abrams, executive director of the Les
Turner ALS Foundation. “Funds raised through family events are critical to our
organization and certainly honor us for the quality services we strive to
provide to all patients and families as they cope with ALS.”
Since 1977, the Les Turner ALS Foundation serves more than 90 percent of ALS victims in Chicagoland & is affiliated with Northwestern Medicine where it supports two world-class research laboratories & a multidisciplinary clinical program.
