The Illinois Hardest Hit Program offers temporary help to homeowners faced with unemployment or underemployment to catch up on their payments and keep their home. Homeowners can apply for up to $35,000 in mortgage payment assistance. The last day to apply for mortgage assistance is September 30, 2013 so don't delay!
