From Being Bullied to Miss Teen USA: Making Lemonade Out of Lemons

Bullying in middle school leads to a mission to help other kids. Logan West, who is the new Miss Teen USA, has a national platform to promote her anti-bullying message.

At age 12, Logan West was bullied relentlessly because she is bi-racial. One particular incident led to the suspensions for Logan and one of her bullies. During her suspension Logan created an anti-bullying program, BullyProof - A Five Step Program, which she promoted throughout Connecticut schools.

Last Saturday night Logan, now 18, was crowned Miss Teen USA, which gives her a national platform to speak out against bullying! Congratulations to Logan!
