Shrimp & Peppers(not Scampi) Over-Priced & Poor Taste

I went to this small restaurant(not a Bistro) because of "supposed savings" from a Restaurant.com  $25.- coupon in late June 2013 & would never go back again. BE CAREFUL- If you want an over-priced and lowsy tasting food from a Chef who thinks he knows Italian, then do not waste your money.
Ordered Shrimp Scampi at $27.- & received 6-small/medium shrimp on a bed of 1-1.5 lbs. of red & yellow peppers. Horrible taste, over-priced, & not Scampi.
Mario thinks this is what Scampi is supposed to be- wake up Mario !
It should be called- SHRIMP & PEPPERS.
I was appalled upon my dinner arriving and seeing a full plate of  peppers, so I asked where are the noodles or something at least. They brought me 4-6 ounces maybe on a small plate & then proceeded to charge me $5.- extra, so Shrimp & Peppers wound up costing me $32.- plus tax & tip besides my other guests dinner was under-cooked and SMALL portion at over $25.-

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant for various reasons.
A small & loud place tucked in a corner of a small & older strip mall buried in the back off of Waukegan Road in Glenview.

If you want to have real Italian food, Sabatino's on near 4500 W. Irving Pk road in Chicago.

If you have a coupon of Mario Mando Cafe, throw it out as you will spend more then saving is worth, & the food is poorly prepared from a do-it-yourself home Chef.
