GOP gathered for Supervisor Carol A. Teschky Open House

Current and Former Republican Officials Join Together at GOP Open House

Over 100 people turned out for the GOP Open House in Des Plaines on Feb. 8. The occasion also marked the opening of a campaign office for Carol A. Teschky who is Supervisor of Maine Township and running for GOP Committeeman in the March 18 election.

Friends and supporters were joined by local Republican officials, both current and former, for the ribbon cutting ceremonies and reception.

Among those attending were State Representative Michael McAuliffe, Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri, Maine Township Clerk Gary K. Warner, Township Trustees Laura Morask, Walter Kazmierczak, Peter Gialamas and Susan Moylan Krey and Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano.

Former Park Ridge Alderman Kim Jones stopped by along with Jane Johnson, former Candidate for Alderman in Park Ridge and her husband, George. Representatives of the news media were there as well.  

The race to be the next Maine Township GOP Committeeman is heating up in the final month especially as the weather turns a bit warmer. The election is Tuesday, March 18. Early voting begins soon. Mail-in voting is also an option for many.

"When I am elected Committeeman, we will re-energize the Republican base by launching an extensive outreach effort to include everyone who wants to be involved in providing a broader, inclusive local Republican organization," Teschky said.
