Norbert Puhala, 91, of Glenview was a United States Army Veteran Staff Sergeant in World War 2. Husband of the late Pearl Ruth Puhala nee Smith; father of Bob (Debbie) Puhala; grandfather of Kate Puhala of San Francisco, CA and Dayne Puhala (John Sturdy); brother of the late Arthur Puhala, Florence Babbitt and George Puhala; uncle of Mark Johnson, Gerry (Russ) Roberts and Arlene (Ronald) Fornek; dear friend of Helen Genteman; also survived by his loving caregivers Ian, Corinne, Derek, Dana and Dwyane Herrera.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Philip the Apostle Church, 1962 Old Willow Road, Northfield, Illinois 60093.
