Sheriff Candidate Ted Palka seeks input from Cook County community

Greetings Cook County residents and friends:

I want to be the best Sheriff that Cook County ever had, and today I need your support in identifying the most important issues in your community. What do you think we should do to make Cook County a safer and even greater place to live, work, and play?

I believe that every Cook County citizen’s voice matters, and my campaign platform for the 2014 primary election focuses on the people of Cook County, not the politics. I have served as a Deputy Sheriff and Inspector in the Cook County Sheriff’s Office for 30 years, and I know we need to focus back on law enforcement, crime reduction, and community development. For example, we need new policies and programs for a more efficient Cook County criminal justice system, and we need to be fiscally responsible for all legal proceedings and government actions taken with taxpayer dollars.

In 2014, I hope we can say that there’s a new sheriff in town. As an elected public official, I will serve every single citizen of Cook County with respect, honor, and dignity to guarantee law enforcement professionalism and proper civil services. If we strategically focus our efforts and our resources together, we can certainly accomplish great things.  Help share this message, visit my website, and consider supporting my cause in any way you can. Personal donations are always appreciated, but it is your voice, your endorsement, and your vote on March 18, 2014, that truly matter to me.

I look forward to personally hearing any questions or comments you have.

Respectfully yours,
Ted Palka
