1 Dead After Head On Collision

Glenview police and fire units responded to the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday afternoon for reports of a head on collision between a black Toyota Camry and a red Kia Soul, according to a police press release.

First responders removed the driver from the Kia, a 37-year-old man, and rushed him to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was pronounced dead, according to the police report. 


A female passenger in the Kia was also removed from the car and taken to the hospital, but sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota was taken to Glenbrook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, as well. 

The Kia's driver's identity has not yet been released, according to police.
