2 Glenview Men Arrested For DUI

Also featured in this week's blotter: police find a broken syringe, a cotton swab and a spoon on Greenwood Rd.

The following reports were provided by the Glenview Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.

Theft

On Feb. 15, someone an unknown person stole a broach off the victim's coat while they were at a business on the 3200 block of Glenview Rd., according to police. Reported loss is $600.00.

On Feb. 17, someone reported they tried to buy a dog online from a man lived out of state, according to police. The victim sent $240.00 for the dog’s transportation, police say. After sending the money, the man asked for another $1,500.00 for insurance for the dog, but that money was not sent, according to police.

DUI

On Feb. 11, Daniel Day, 51, of Glenview, was arrested on the 3700 block of West Lake Ave. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence – BAC .08 or more, speeding and improper lane usage, according to police. He was released on a $1,000.00 bond and his court date was set for 03/15/13, police say.

On Feb. 16, Steven Vago, 41, of Glenview, was arrested on the 9800 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage, according to police. He was released on a $1,000.00 bond, police say.

On Feb. 16, Perry Browder, 49, of Glenview, was arrested on the 2300 block of Larkdale Dr. and charged with domestic battery and interfering with reporting domestic violence, according to police.

Suspicious Incident

On Feb. 18, someone reported they found a broken syringe, a cotton swab and a spoon near a business on the 200 block of Greenwood Rd., according to police. 

Aggravated Identity Theft

On Feb. 20, Rowena Ravago, 38, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station and charged with aggravated identity theft, according to police. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on 12/10/12 on the 2900 block of Patriot Blvd., police say.
