2 Glenview Officers Under Investigation for Lying in Court

The two Glenview police officers as well as three Chicago officers are accused of lying on the stand during a drug case last month.

Two Glenview police officers are on paid administrative leave while the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office investigates whether they, along with three officers from Chicago, lied on the stand during a drug case last month, according to an article in the Journal & Topics.

The article identifies the officers as patrol Sgt. Terry Urbanowski and officer Jim Horn. They are accused of lying under oath when they described stopping a car driven by a Glenview resident who police said had a large amount of cannabis in the car. Video of the arrest showed a different scenario than what the officers described, the article states.
