4 Cars Burglarized in One Night

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On June 6, a resident on the 2100 block of Henley Street reported someone burglarized their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in their driveway, according to police. Taken off the windshield was a GPS navigation system, police say. The incident occurred on June 3, and reported loss was $125.00.
On June 9, someone reported their cair was burglarized while it was parked on the 1300 block of Longmeadow Drive, according to police. Entry was made by breaking the front passenger side window, police say. A GPS unit and a radar detector, worth about $850.00, were reported stolen.
That day, two cars on the 1200 block of Highland Lane were reported burglarized with broken front passenger side windows smashed, according to police. A phone charger and radio face plate were reported stolen.
Someone also reported their car on the 3800 block of Cindy Lane had its front passenger side window smashed, but nothing was reported stolen, police say.
Harassment by Telephone
On June 7, a Glenview resident received a telephone call from man who said he was with the “State Investigation Department," according to police. The caller said the homeowner had three federal charges against him and the called needed to verify personal information with him, police say. The homeowner believed the call to be a scam and notified police.
Resisting a Police Officer
On June 8, Marsean Hood, 18, of Northbrook, was arrested on the 3200 block of Sanders Road and charged with Resisting a Police Officer and Consumption of Alcohol by a Person Under 21, according to police.
