4 Homes, 2 Cars Broken Into in Glenview in Span of Few Days

The incidents happened between June 17-19.

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department.

Residential Burglary

A resident of the 1300 block of Sherwood Rd. reported their home was burglarized on June 18 between midnight and 6:20 a.m. Taken were a purse and its contents, a bracelet and cash. The estimated loss is $550.

A resident of the 3200 block of West Lake Ave. reported their home was burglarized on June 18 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Taken was electronic equipment. The estimated loss is $150.

A resident of the 1400 block of Kaywood Ln. reported their home was burglarized on June 18 between midnight and 6:30 a.m. Taken was a computer and the estimated loss is $2,500.

A resident of the 4000 block of Chester Dr. reported their home was burglarized on June 19 between noon and 2:10 p.m. Taken were a green cloth pillow case, jewelry, and $1,000 cash. The estimated loss is $6,700.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

A resident of the 1100 block of Castilian Ct. reported someone burglarized their vehicle while it was parked outside their home. The incident occurred between 4 p.m. on June 17 and 8 a.m. June 18. A GPS unit was taken and the ignition was damaged. The estimated loss is $1500.

A resident of the 1400 block of Evergreen Terrace reported between 8 p.m. June 17 and 3 a.m. June 18, someone burglarized their car while it was parked outside their home. The estimated loss is $400.
