75-Year-Old Charged With Assaulting Police Officer

Two people were charged assaulting police officers, a 22-year-old Glenview man and a 75-year-old Northfield man.

The following reports were provided by the Glenview Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.

DUI

On April 18, Kathleen Lynch, 48, of Glenview, was arrested at the intersection of Terrace Lane and Meadowlark Lane and charged with aggravated driving under the influence (third or subsequent time), driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, disobeyed a red light and improper lane usage, according to police.

On April 19, Alan Prevendar, 43, of Glenview, was arrested on the 800 block of Waukegan Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

Aggravated Assault to a Police Officer

On April 19, Colin Nelson, 22, of Glenview, was arrested on the 2100 block of Rugen Road and charged with aggravated assault to a police officer, resisting arrest and unlawful use of weapon, police say. Nelson also had a valid warrant from DuPage County, according to police.

On April 21, Frederick Footh, 75, of Northfield, was arrested on the 0-100 block of South Main Street and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting arrest of a peace officer, police say. He was transported to court on April 22, appeared before a judge and received a $10,000.00 bond, according to police.
