$8K in $100 Bills Goes Missing After Party

Someone also stole four folding tables from a shed in a separate incident.

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department.

Theft

A resident of the 3900 block of Carousel Dr. had a party at their home with about 10 people on April 20. Sometime during the party someone stole $8,000 in $100 bills. 

Burglary

A resident of the 900 block of Leamington Ave. reported someone entered their shed between midnight April 12 and 7 a.m. April 13 hours and removed four folding tables worth $400.

Theft

Someone took a computer and personal items worth $1000 from a storage locker in the 700 block of Milwaukee Ave. between Jan 1 and April 18.

Criminal Damage to Property

A resident of the 2100 block of Grove St. reported that someone cut branches off of their Japanese flowering quince plant in the rear of their residence and cut branches off of their summer snowflake plant in the front of their residence between Nov. 13 and April 15. The estimated loss is $20.

Fire Investigation

A resident saw the detached garages for two homes in the 1900 block of Robincrest Ln. on fire at 1:15 a.m. April 21. They woke the residents up who then called 911. A Glenview Fire Department Investigator determined the fire was not suspicious in nature.

Parking Dispute

An employee of a business in the 2000 block of Johns Dr. reported at noon April 21 that an employee of another business in the same block threatened to knock them out after the two had a dispute about parking spots in front of the businesses. No complaints were signed.

Burglary (Motor Vehicle)

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle while the owner went into a store in the 1400 block of Waukegan Rd. at 2 p.m. April 21. A laptop and iPad, valued at $600, were taken.
