Bank Robbed in Neighboring Morton Grove

A robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money after robbing a bank in neighboring Morton Grove on Friday.

A bank in neighboring Morton Grove was robbed on Friday.

According to police, MB Financial Bank, 9147 Waukegan Road, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money around 2:30 p.m.

A person entered the bank and demanded money, but did not display a weapon or indicate they had one, police said. No one was injured.  

"It was a quick job, no gun was displayed and [the suspect] was in and out," said Morton Grove Cmdr. Paul Yaras. "We've already spoken to the FBI and they're taking the lead on this one."

Bank robberies are not "sporadic" anymore. They are commonplace. As are home invasions. Drunk driving rampant drug use Drive by shootings. Destruction of schools with illegal immigration. Destruction of religious and moral values by the liberal media. Etc. The. "Great society" liberal politically correct political policies have brought the destruction of a safe society. And I suspect this is only the beginning....
