Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, DUI, Warrant Arrest

No Valid Driver’s License
On Aug. 31 3:41 p.m., Nestor Cardenas, 25, of Des Plaines, was arrested at the intersection of Willow Rd. and Landwehr Rd. and charged with no valid driver’s license. He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 20.

Aggravated Driving Under the Influence
On Sept. 1 at 2:36 a.m., Dariusz Pietrucha, 46, of Northbrook, was arrested in the 2000 block of Pfingsten Rd. and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, resisting a peace officer, driving under the influence alcohol, improper stop on red arrow and improper lane usage.  He was transported to court on Sept. 1 for a bond hearing.  

Domestic Battery
On Sept. 1 at 2:30 a.m. John Clark, 49, of Glenview, was arrested in the 2400 block of Indian Ridge Dr. and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to court on Sept. 3 for a bond hearing.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On Sept. 2 at 2:22 a.m., Danny Choi, 50, of Glenview, was arrested in the 2200 block of Glenview Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence - BAC .08 or more, speeding and failure to signal when required. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 20.

Warrant
On Sept. 2 at 3:10 a.m., Julius Miles, 27, of Glenview, was arrested in the 1500 block of Woodlawn Ave. on a failure to appear warrant issued by the Cook County Sheriff’s Police.  He is being held until he can be brought to court for a bond hearing.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named above are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
