A Park Ridge man was charged with DUI after being pulled over by Niles police for speeding. When the responding officer asked the driver for his license and insurance card, the man handed over his bank card and the car manual instead.

Perhaps She Was Captured By A Bargain Hunter

A Buffalo Grove man called the police to check on his wife who went to a local store and did not return after an hour and a half. The wife returned while officers were present.  

This Bad Idea Is Heating Up

A Northbrook man was charged with retail theft from a Home Depot in Palatine after he stole a $130.00 thermostat, then returned and tried to return the item for store credit.
