Four Cars Burglarized In One Night

The following information was reported by Glenview Police. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary
On Aug. 27, a resident on the 1000 block of Prairie Lawn Road reported someone stole jewelry from their bedroom on two occasions, once in June and once in August, according to police. They have had work done on their house during this time frame and they suspect one of the contractors, according to the report. The 
estimated loss is more than $15,000.00, police say.


Vehicular Burglary
On Aug. 28, a resident on the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue reported someone entered the pick-up bed of their truck and stole several tools while it was parked in their driveway overnight, according to police. The estimated loss is more than $3,000.00, police say. 

That night, three more cars were burglarized on the 3600 block of Glenview Road, according to police. Total reported loss from the three car burglaries is more than $3,700.00, police say.

On Aug. 31, a resident on the 2400 block of Greenfield Drive reported their unlocked vehicle was entered and items were taken while it was parked on their driveway overnight, according to police.  Reported loss is about $350.00.
