Four Cars Burglarized On Linden, Kings Lanes

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Glenview Police Department:

Four Cars Burglarized On Linden, Kings lanes
Four Glenview residents of the 900-1000 block of Linden and Kings lanes reported that their vehicles were burglarized overnight Sunday, Jan. 19, while the cars were parked in their driveways, according to police. All of the vehicles were unlocked; the estimated total of stolen items is more than $700, police said. 

Park Ridge, Chicago Men Issued Drug Citations
Two men were issued drug citations after police stopped their car after a report of a suspicious vehicle at 9:23 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in the 1800 block of Longvalley Road. John Oliver, 22, of the 100 block of Arthur Street in Park Ridge, was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, and Michael Mazur, 21, of the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue in Chicago, was issued a citation for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, according to police. 

Laid-Off Employee Refuses to Leave
An employee of a business in the 200 block of Waukegan Road reported that an employee they had just laid off locked themselves in an office and refused to leave on Friday, Jan. 17, according to police. Police escorted the employee out of the building and warned them not to return.

9-11 Caller Yells Foul Language, Loops Movie Audio
The Glenview Public Safety Dispatch reported receiving multiple calls from a man who continued yelling foul language and playing audio loops from a movie on Saturday, Jan. 18, according to police. 

Landscape Rock Thrown Through Car Window
Someone threw a landscape rock through the rear window of an employee's car while it was parked on the south side of a business in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road between 5 a.m. and 3:14 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, according to police. The estimated loss is $500. 

Taxi Customer Refuses to Pay Fare, Threatens Driver
A taxi driver reported that a customer threatened them during a dispute about the fare in the 1200 block of Shermer Road on Saturday, Jan. 18, according to police. No complaints were signed, and the customer paid the fare, police said. 

Unknown Male Caller Transmits On Niles/Morton Grove Police Frequency
Glenview Public Safety Dispatch reported that an unknown man transmitted on the Niles/Morton Grove police frequency, saying "District 3 State Police radio check," on Sunday, Jan. 19, according to police. Several similar incidents have been reported, police said.
