Giant Frog Ornament Stolen from Glenview Yard

Someone also used a BB gun to break the window of a vehicle in this edition of the Glenview police blotter.

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt:

Domestic Battery/Battery

Jefferson Celeste, 32, of Evanston, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. May 24 in the 1000 block of 10th Street for Domestic Battery and Battery of a Household Member.

Harry Pham, 18, of Chicago, and Minh H. Lam, 22, of Chicago, were arrested May 24 in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with Criminal Defacement. Both were released on a $1,000 D-Bond with June 12 court dates.

Speeding 26mph – 34mph

Paul Otroshko, 37, of Des Plaines, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. May 25 in the 400 block of Waukegan Rd. and charged with Speeding 26mph – 34mph over the posted limit. He was released after posting his driver’s license as bond with a June 23 court date.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

Someone used a BB gun to shoot and break the driver window of a vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Rd. around 11 a.m. May 20. The estimated damage is over $300.

Identity Theft

A resident reported May 20 someone made an unauthorized charge on their credit card in the amount of $2,800. The resident is still in possession of the credit card and is not sure how the offender obtained their information.

A resident stated they received a letter in the mail May 21 from the "State of Illinois Integrated Eligibility System," alerting them that someone is unlawfully using their child’s social security number for employment.  The resident will sign complaints if an offender is identified.

Theft

The complainant reported someone stole their cellphone while they were at a business in the 2100 block of Willow Rd. May 20. They placed the cellphone down to put their child in a car seat and left. Five minutes later when they realized they left the cellphone they drove back but the cellphone was gone. The estimated loss is $300.

A complainant reported they lost their cellphone at Willow Park 2600 Greenwood Rd. on May 20 at 8 p.m. When they returned the cellphone was gone. The estimated loss is $250.

A resident of the 1800 block of Silverwillow Ln. reported someone took their  6-foot frog yard ornament between 6 p.m. May 22 and 8 a.m. May 23. The estimated loss is $50.

A resident of the 1900-2000 block of Patriot Blvd. reported between Feb 28 and May 22, someone stole two golf bags from their garage. The estimated loss is $600.

A complainant reported their son’s bicycle was stolen from Roosevelt Park between 4:30 and 6 p.m. May 26. The estimated loss is $400.
