Glenview Blotter: Two Thefts at Von Maur

Also featured: A Glenview man was charged with resisting arrest after failure to pay a taxi fare.

The following items were listed in several Glenview police reports citing recent incidents and arrests. A criminal charge represents merely an accusation, defendants named below are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Two Thefts at Von Maur

On Sept. 26, Maryann Blanas, 51, of Antioch, was charged with retail theft after an investigation at Von Maur at The Glen, according to police. 

On Sept. 28, Linda Liss, 50, of Northbrook, was charged with retail theft after an investigation at Von Maur at The Glen and property valued at $181.00 was recovered, according to police.

Theft of Services & Resisting Arrest

On Sept. 29, Samuel J. Bova, 26, of Glenview, was charged with theft of services and resisting arrest after a taxi driver complained of an unpaid fare, according to police.

DUI Arrest

On Sept. 30, Gerlinde Kornmesser, 49, of Glenview, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, failure to signal and operating a vehicle without a driver's license on the 1500 block of Milwaukee Ave., according to police.
