Glenview Man Charged With Filing False Police Report

Filing a False Police Report

On April 26, Richard Kang, 31, of Glenview,  was arrested at the Glenview Police Department and charged with attempted disorderly conduct, for filing a false police report, according to police. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on Feb. 20, 2013, on the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue, police say.

Correction: The original entry had an incorrect charge based on inaccurate information in the arrest report from police.  It has been corrected.

Possession of Cannabis

On April 27, Minh Bien, of Glenview, was cited for possession of cannabis after an incident on the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue, according to police. 

DUI

On April 23, Krzysztof Koch, 65, of Northbrook, was arrested on the 900 block of Shermer Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a BAC. 08 or more, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and making an improper turn, according to police.

The charges are related to an accident that occurred at the intersection of East Lake Avenue and Shermer Road shortly before the arrest, police say.

Theft

On April 24, someone reported two men stole a wheel chair from a business on the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road, according to police. The incident occurred on April 22, and reported loss is $400.00, police say.
