Glenview Police Arrest Chicago Man For Predatory Sexual Assault
Ryan Ruiz, 31, was charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile in a Glenview park.
Glenview police detectives arrested Ryan Ruiz, 31, of Chicago on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to a press release.
Police say he was arrested on Friday, Feb. 15, around 8:30 p.m., related to an incident that occurred on May 16, 2012 at John’s Park at 2101 Central Rd. in Glenview.
According to the police press release, Ruiz met a juvenile the Internet and convinced that person to meet Ruiz at John's Park.

On Sunday, Feb. 17, Ruiz was taken to the Cook County District #2 Courthouse and turned over to Cook County Sheriff’s Police custody, police say.

He is being held in Cook County jail on a $250,000 bond, according to the Journal & Topics.
