Glenview Police Blotter: Cell Phone While Driving, DUI and Burglary

DUI, suspended licenses, driving while using a cell phone and more make up the latest arrest summary from the Glenview Police Department.

Below is the arrest summary provided by the Glenview Police Department. Readers are reminded that individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Burglary
On March 18, 2014 Clarence Cardish, 25, of the 4300 block of Whipple St., Chicago and Noel Thomas, 34, of the 1600 block of Berwyn Ave., Chicago were charged with burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1700 block of Chestnut Ave. Cardish also was charged with resisting arrest. 

Suspended Driver's License

On March 19, 2014 Renee Khanina, 20, of the 7500 block of N. Rockwell St., Chicago was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage in the 600 block of E. Lake Ave. Khanina posted a $1,500 'D' bond and has a court date on April 22. 

Driving Under the Influence

On March 20, Seyed Davood Dehnavifar, 26, of the 1100 block of Hunter Rd., Glenview was arrested and charged with improper lane usage, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1500 block of E. Lake Ave. Dehnavifar was processed and released on bond, and has a court date on April 22. 

Suspended Driver's License, Driving with Cell Phone and No Insurance

On March 20, 2014 at 7:50 p.m. Miguel Hernandez-Lara of the 300 block of W.. Wayne Pl., Wheeling was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and using an electronic communication device while driving. Hernandez-Lara was processed and released on bond, and has a court date on April 17.
