Hit-And-Run Leads to Two Arrests

In a separate incident, a man was arrested for assault and violating a protection order.

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Hit and Run

Guillermo Vargas-Solis, 27, of Glenview, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. May 26 at Rolling Pass Rd. and Linneman St. and charged with Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Failure to Give Aid or Information, Driving Left of Center, and Improper Passing after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a traffic crash. He was released on a $2,000 D-Bond with a court date set for June 12.

A passenger that was in the vehicle, Pedro Sotelo-Andrande, 38, of Glenview, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was held pending transport to bond court.

Possession of Controlled Substance

Quiera Walls, 31, of Chicago, was arrested in the 1700 block of Pfingsten Rd. at 7 p.m. May 26 and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Obstructing a Peace Officer, No Valid Driver’s License and Failure to Wear Seatbelt. She was held pending transport to bond court.

Violation of Order of Protection

Dong Pak, 34, of Glenview, was arrested in the 2700 block of Commons Dr.at 8 p.m. May 27 and charged with Violation of Order of Protection and Aggravated Assault. He was held pending transport to bond court.
