A resident of the 2900 block of Leanne Crt. reported someone broke into their home between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. June 4. Once inside the offender ransacked several rooms in the home and stole various electronics and jewelry worth over $4,000.
A resident stated that on May 23 they received a letter in the mail from the IRS. They responded to the letter and found out an unknown offender used their information to file a federal tax return.
A resident of the 900 block of Arbor Ln. reported seeing a suspicious black beater pickup truck driving up and down the street turning around in various driveways at 4:15 p.m. June 4.
A Glenview Public Library volunteer reported that their tapestry handbag containing two eyeglass cases and cosmetics was stolen from the used bookstore inside the library between 9 and 10:40 a.m. June 7. The estimated loss is over $100.
Someone damaged three mailboxes in the 1100 block of Wildwood Lane between 10:30 p.m. June 7 and 9 a.m. June 8.
Someone stole a wallet from a purse as it hung from a chair while the victim was eating at a restaurant on the 2300 block of Willow Rd. at 1:30 p.m. June 1. The estimated loss is $100.
An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Patriot Blvd. said on June 7 at about 10 a.m. another employee was walking in the opposite direction through the parking lot and threatened them.
A complainant reported on April 21 at 7 p.m. he left two folders with personal documents at a business in the 900 block of Waukegan Rd. After forgetting the documents, they called the business and no one turned the documents in and they were no longer at the store. They suffered no loss at this time and wanted the incident reported.
Harassment by Electronic Communication
The complainant reported June 9 receiving a harassing email at their business in the 4200 block of Commercial Way. The email came from a man who was involved in a traffic crash with one of the complainant’s trucks in the city of Chicago. He does not wish to sign criminal complaints at this time.
A resident of the 700 block of Forest Rd. reported that on June 8 between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., someone entered their home and stole an electronic device that was located on a table near the front door. The estimated loss is $400.
