Lockbox With $1K Inside Stolen in Ruse Burglary

Someone also dumped and then retrieved emergency exit handles from a business's dumpster.

Residential Burglary

A resident of the 1000 block of Castilian Court report two men entered the residence to fix alleged water issues and stole a lockbox at 8:30 p.m. April 14. The reported loss is $1,000.

A resident reported someone stole her child’s jacket containing a cellphone in the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue at 4 p.m. April 8. The estimated loss is $600.

Dumping Complaint

An employee in the 4300 block of Di Paolo Center reported April 8 at 6:45 p.m. that a man dumped several emergency exit handles in the business's dumpster. The offender was located and removed the items. 

Unlawful Use of Credit Card

A resident reported April 9 that someone conducted a transfer against a new credit card account. The reported loss is $1,600.

Theft

A patron reported someone stole his cellphone while in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 3 p.m. April 9. The reported loss is $200.

Identity Theft

A resident reported April 10 that someone filed their 2014 tax return fraudulently.
